Dolpo

Dolpo is one of the most remote regions of Nepal, a high and dry land in the rain shadow of the Dhaulagiri range with a culture shaped by Tibetan Buddhism. A trek in Upper Dolpo, a restricted area that needs a special permit, combines high passes, ancient monasteries and the landscapes of Shey Phoksundo National Park.
